This is a rather silly title and indeed, concept-the war was a lot longer coming than that and the Germans had originally planned for an attack on Poland a couple of days prior to the actual date-that was a fairly late time of the year to start a campaign any how as the ‘season’ was normally late spring and summer for good weather and long days.
