The music of Meatloaf will be celebrated when new dating show I Would Do Anything for Love takes place next week at FOX Studios in Sydney.
ITV Studios Australia is filming the pilot for a US network inspired by the song by the iconic singer.
The pilot sees couples tested on what they will or won’t do for love via hilarious and sometimes frightening challenges. It combines a live band, 80’s rock and an audience mosh pit.
Filming is proceeding just weeks after the death of Meatloaf, aged 74, who had been heavily involved in its development. It’s understood he had hoped to travel to Australia for the production.
An Australian broadcaster is yet to be aligned with the pilot.
