Hulu picks up Love Me

Good news for local drama with Hugo Weaving & Bojana Novakovic as it heads stateside next week.

New Australian romantic drama Love Me will premiere in the USA on Hulu on April 1.

The 6 part drama from Warner Bros. International Television Australia Production stars Hugo Weaving, Bojana Novakovic, William Lodder, Bob Morley, Heather Mitchell, Sarah Peirse and Shalom Brune-Franklin

Love Me, adapted from the Swedish series, lska mig, is directed by Emma Freeman (Stateless, Glitch) and written by Alison Bell, Leon Ford, Adele Vuko and Blake Ayshford.

Nicky Davies Williams, CEO, DCD Rights said, “Love Me is truly a drama for our time. We’re delighted this emotional and life-affirming series has found an excellent home on Hulu.”

Binge / Foxtel is yet to announce a second season.
