Renewed: Time

UK prison drama Time, which starred Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, has been renewed for a second season by BBC.

Filmed in Liverpool, the series was one of 2021’s highest performing new dramas in the UK with nearly 12 million viewers overall.

The second series will shift to a new cast and be set in an all-female prison.

Three new episodes will be written by creator Jimmy McGovern as a BBC Studios production.
