Quirky 2020 UK crime drama McDonald & Dodds is coming to BritBox in May.
It centres around a shy and enigmatic Detective Sergeant is partnered with a wildly ambitious Detective Chief Inspector to solve crimes in the historic city of Bath.
Talia Gouveia (Cold Feet) plays the ambitious DCI McDonald who has swapped the mean streets of London to leap up the career ladder in picturesque Bath. A tough, driven cop, McDonald cracks cases through sheer force of will. When McDonald is partnered with the quiet and unassuming veteran sergeant Dodds played by Jason Watkins (The Crown, W1A, Line of Duty), the pair instantly lock horns over their different approaches to policing and to life.
Directed by Richard Senior (Poldark, Humans, Doctor Who) and created by Robert Murphy (DCI Banks, Inspector George Gently).
