Swedish police drama Thin Blue Line debuts next week on SBS with a double episode.
This has previously screened at SBS on Demand.
In Swedish with English subtitles.
An intimate portrayal of the daily life of four police officers, where the line between private and professional life blurs as tensions heighten in the crime-ridden city of Malmo, Sweden.
Episode One:
Newly graduated Sara is trying to find her way in the Malmo police. She and her partner Magnus are called out when five-year-old Belle disappears.
Episode Two: Sara struggles to deal with her protective instinct and keeping her emotions in check at work. When she and the team storm a brothel, she is tasked with looking after vulnerable people.

So not the classic 1988 doco or the Rowan Atkinson sitcom but Tunna Bla Linjen 2021. Looks ok.
Honestly, if this was a gritty Swedish remake of the Rowan Atkinson classic, I would be all over this.
