As far as we know, Circus Mircus was formed in Tbilisi, Georgia, by 3 local circus academy dropouts at the end of 2020. In a note passed to Eurovision organisers, the band explained: ‘We weren’t good enough, probably the worst in the crew, that’s why we became friends’. Sonically unique, Circus Mircus encompass a myriad of genres, intricately reflecting the inner world and the life experience of each band member. The cornerstone of their philosophy lies in the complete neglect of musical frameworks. Since the band’s inception in 2020, they have released 11 songs.
