Nine is making a change to its Monday night schedule, removing David Attenborough’s The Mating Game and replacing it with Australia Behind Bars in two cities.
On Monday Attenborough drew 234,000 but Nine will soon have to contend with Have You Been Paying Attention?

Like many Corrections facilities across the country, Wellington officers wage a constant battle to uncover inmates with contraband. The Immediate Action Team (IAT) may know they have it, but inmates are clever at hiding it – often concealing illegal items in a body cavity. But the officers now have a new weapon – a full body scanner!

However Footy Classified will screen at 8:45pm followed by Nine News Late and a repeat of Australia Behind Bars.

So glad Australia Behind Bars is back. Very interesting show.
I don’t know why David Attenborough couldn’t continue airing in an earlier timeslot on Saturday or Sunday evening. It annoys me that I invest in a 5 part documentary and then it gets shelved. At least the storyline isn’t continuous like the dramas any network used to bump or shelve.
I do not watch a lot of 9 for that very reason….I gave up many years ago….i got tired of starting series and then 9 would flip them around all over the place….I don’t want to have to spend my viewing time…keeping track of where my show is….Thank goodness for TV Tonight…
