Upcoming First Nations talk show Mob Talks recently wrapped filming for Channel 44 Adelaide, the first production led by alumni of the SA Film Corp. and C44 First Nations Internship Program.

Created, produced and directed by 2021 First Nations interns Keith Gilbey-Warrior and Rick Hutcheson, Mob Talks is a unique talk show featuring special guests from First Nations communities discussing current affairs and hot topics.

Mob Talks is hosted by Marcellus Enalanga (pictured left) and co-produced / directed by Keith Gilbey-Warrior (centre) and Rick Hutcheson (right) with support from the South Australian Film Corporation and the Community Broadcasting Foundation.

The four-episode series is set to air on Channel 44 and CTV+ later this year.

Meanwhile applications are open until 17 June for the 2022 First Nations Internship Program intake, which creates pathways for early career First Nations screen makers. There’s no experience required, although evidence of previous credits is preferable, and applicants must demonstrate a commitment to a career in screen.
