Nine has released a trailer for its upcoming drama series After The Verdict in which four everyday people go beyond the call of jury duty to catch a killer.
The series by Subtext Pictures stars Michelle Lim Davidson (The Newsreader), Sullivan Stapleton (Blindspot, Animal Kingdom), Magda Szubanski (Kath & Kim, Babe) and Lincoln Younes (Grand Hotel, Doctor Doctor), along with Tess Haubrich (Wolf Creek), Virginia Gay (Judy and Punch), Emma Diaz (Diary of an Uber Driver), Richard Brancatisano (Harrow, Underbelly: Razor), Nicholas Brown (Wakefield, Amazing Grace) and Hazem Shammas (Safe Harbour).
An airdate is yet to be announced.
After The Verdict tells a story of four very different Australians who have just finished jury duty on a high-profile murder trial. As they return to normal life, they begin to question their verdict and take matters into their own hands, investigating the murder themselves as they juggle the pressures and impacts on their personal lives.

I’m excited that Virginia Gay is in an Australian drama series again. She’s criminally underrated.
