Disappointed that Therese got back with Paul. She shouldve stayed with Glen. Also dont understand the on-off of Paul and boys going to New York, then not.. Or was it a ploy to keep interest? I did like seeing the ghosts of Sonya, Hendrix and Doug Willis. I did like the actual final scene with group pic/heart balloon breaking and glitter confetti raining down, and the ‘thanks for loving us; we love you’.
Any figures for Neighbours on 10 Peach as opposed to 10?
No. Simulcast = 1 number.
<900k
Would think that's pretty poor considering its the finale to a show that's been going for decades and been promoted for weeks, if not months.
It was a great number. You will struggle to find a higher drama overnight.
Ok thanks. Just wondering why Melbourne ratings are generally higher than Sydney’s, even though their population is larger? 15 out of the 20 top shows have higher ratings in Melb than Syd.
If you search the site there are some posts on this. Weather, culture, less foxtel in Melb.
You would think that since Netflix arrived, the argument for less Foxtel in Melb would be irrelevant. Weather? Well what about in February and March, when we have nice weather in Melb, the ratings are still higher here…
Including regional audience figures, the numbers were around 1.2 million. Ten has already indicated it’s willing to look at rebooting or reformatting the series at some point.
I wouldn’t go as far as saying rebooting or reformatting. 10 could start with a special like they did for Young Talent Time 50th. It was very remiss of them that ABC could manage it but not 10.
Totally agree. Ive been noting that abc have done a few articles re the end, but ch 10, didnt do a special in the same vein as YTT.
Goodbye Neighbours. It has been a pleasure having this show on the screens for more than 30 years.
Aaaahhhh Neighbours, farewell my friend. I may have given up watching you a long time ago but I gave you the respect you deserved last night. It’s great to see many others did as well.
Congrats viewing public of Australia for giving Neighbours top spot on the night & Melbourne viewers give it a big hometown win for the finale. Wasn’t sure how well the finale would rate since ratings hadn’t seen an increase until the last week since the announcement that the show would be ending back a few months ago.
