Season 8 of survival series Alone begins next week on SBS VICELAND with 10 participants stranded in British Columbia.
The 12 part series debuted internationally in June 2021.
Ten new participants fight to survive in the Canadian wilderness on the shores of Chilko Lake, British Columbia. Equipped with just ten items and a camera kit, each participant must survive in total isolation, with the hopes of lasting the longest and winning the $500,000 prize.
Not only must they face the elements and being completely alone, but they also face the deadliest predator in North America: the grizzly bear.
Season Eight, Episode One: The Hunted
The grizzlys immediately make their presence known, and the participants must adapt from being the hunters to the hunted. But one participant quickly realises that bears aren’t the only threat to their life.
