Room reveal puts Block on top

Bathroom week reveal puts Nine reno show at #1 for Sunday, nearly doubling the competition.

A first room reveal on The Block pushed the show to #1 on Sunday with 964,000 metro viewers -a brilliant number for Nine so early in the game.

It very nearly doubled MKR (500,000) then Spicks & Specks (483,000 from 7:40pm) and The Masked Singer at 437,000 from 7:30pm (rising to 549,000 for the reveal of the Tiger).

Later 60 Minutes won at 527,000 then 7News Spotlight (398,000). ABC movie Here Out West was 219,000 with NCIS: Hawaii at 198,000.

Nine network won Sunday with 34.4% then Seven 27.7%, 10 15.8%, ABC 15.0% and SBS 7.2%.

Nine News drew 889,000 with A Celebration of Olivia Newton-John at 336,000.

Seven News won its slot at 944,000. Homicide with Ron Iddles repeated with 225,000.

The Sunday Project drew 369,000 / 239,000 for 10. 10 News First was 209,000 / 177,000. FBI managed 99,000.

ABC News pulled 590,000 for ABC. Compass (210,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (140,000 / 125,000), Treasures Of Greece (113,000) Druids: The Mystery Of Celtic Priests (99,000) and Top Ten Treasures Of Pompeii (84,000).

Bluey led multichannels at 135,000.

Total TV numbers for last Sunday have been delayed again.

Spicks & Specks: 905,000

MKR: 1.00m
NCIS: Hawaii: 297,000

  1. Spicks and Speck was great….Here Out West was really good….but needed my complete attention…hard going for me at night…so I will rewatch on iview..

  2. I guessed the secret song correctly last night on Spicks and Specks. Didn’t pick up on all the clues but enough to work it out.

    Also the lady on team Myf was excellent doing the substitute segment.

  3. The Block is the same, same. I don’t get the attraction myself. The Mask Singer is fun, bright n colourful in contrast. We are all different….
