  1. Looking forward to this but please don’t tell us where they are going! Promo also included a clip which i dicated that that team had not been last on a leg.
Free to Air channels need to stop ruining their shows by showing big previews!!! Happens all the time on 9, 7 and 10!!!!!

  2. This promo really got me excited, and I understand why they are featuring a lot of the destinations, but I do prefer the surprise element of not knowing where they are going next.

  3. Before I commit to even an episode of this, I’d like to know whether they plan to destroy the format again this season by bringing in intruders during the race. As soon as they did that last season, I was out.

    1. I followed the race as filming – I can confirm that there are no intruders … instead, there is an interesting format workaround that I kinda dig on paper and will be interested to see in action l.

  4. It might have been on the American version, but there was viral candid behind the scenes footage posted on social media of the crew doing several retakes to get the perfect shot of a team leaving the pit stop. It defeats the purpose when it’s a race. If there’s no trust and people think it’s a sham or rigged, then that’s a problem in retaining viewers. That’s a general observance and risk for any reality show. There’s no implying that it specifically happens in this Australian version.

This Australian version looks good and you have to give them credit for choosing unique and different destinations this time.

    1. I think that’s is the what is required to make a show and your u would think that all teams will be subject to that requirement.

Additionally, When you watch some seasons (particularly old US seasons), teams might get a time credit due to production issues – so things like having to re-read the clue read will not impact the game.

So I think it’s all above boatd.

      1. I can understand there can be production issues. The important thing is that it is reality TV and not scripted. When hearing dialogue on scripted shows like Home & Away or Neighbours, it’s not like natural speech where the are the occasional ums and ahhs. I think it’s okay to be a bit raw or imperfect on reality TV.

On some game shows in the credits, they mention that parts of the show might have been edited that did not affect the outcome. So I think it’s important for the shows to be open and honest about it. I think I saw a disclaimer in the credits for Hunted as well, in which the disclosure is appreciated.
