High concept thriller, Significant Other, starring Jake Lacy and Maika Monroe, is coming to Paramount+ in early October.
Presented by Paramount+ in Association with Paramount Pictures’ Players Label, Significant Other follows a young couple, Harry (Jake Lacy, White Lotus) and Ruth (Maika Monroe, It Follows), who take a remote backpacking trip through the Pacific Northwest, but things take a dark turn when they realise they may not be alone.

Hey David, it might be worth noting that this Not to be confused with the new ABC Australian drama series “significant others” which premiere is next month.
I noted that in today’s newsletter actually.
Judging by the trailer this TV movie could be as scary as watching a wet lettuce leaf, the less high concept Katla which was released on Netflix recently would make an interesting comparison regarding how to write slow burn supernatural, mystery screenplays.
