  1. I m not a The Block fan. But do watch the auctions. I watched this years eps on/off re Shaon Johal ex Neigbours actress. To me, the judges are also to blame for the dismal auction results. As were the unrealistic reserve prices. And. The registered??? bidders should be ashamed of themselves. Especially the older man. What the heck???? The usual woman didnt make one singe bid. What the heck was she there for??? Being there was a priviledge Not a right. Its high time judges/reserve price people admitted they made mistakes. I felt for the couple who Only made $20,000. W h a t?? The show should now be axed. Plus the auction ep spent one and a half hours waffling Before the actual auction. Boring. So glad channel surfed and also saw half of Aus Got Talent. That was Worth watching, as always. The Block passed its expiry date.

    .

  2. Even though i’m not a fan, congrats to all involved in the Block, 1.3- 1.6 Million is a massive ratings achievement, the Block is undoubtedly unbeatable. I wonder if programmers at the other stations are already tearing up any plans to put a major show up against it next year, assuming it will be back for many more to come.

Surely this would top the list of the highest rating episode of anything in the last five years excluding sport? At least in the top 5?
