28th Annual Critics Choice Awards: nominees

Bluey, Milly Alcock and Murray Bartlett all nominated in US awards.

Bluey, Milly Alcock and Murray Bartlett have all been nominated in the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards in the USA.

Bluey is up for Best Animated Series and could well be in with a shot at winning.

Milly Alcock’s performance in House of the Dragon has stiff competition against the likes of Carol Burnett, Jennifer Coolidge, Julia Garner, Audra McDonald and Rhea Seehorn for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. An amazing inclusion for her in this category.

Murray Bartlett ‘s performance in Welcome to Chippendales landed him in contention for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie made for Television.

Abbott Elementary led with 6 overall nods followed by Better Call Saul (5) then Gaslit, Reservation Dogs and The Good Fight (all 4).

  1. Is Jennifer Coolidge nominated for Series 1 or 2? She seems to be the only nominee, and I wouldn’t have thought S2 was eligible yet, but maybe it is and she is the sole nominee. People everywhere seem to adore this second season but i think it is nowhere near as good as the first. But happy to see the renaissance of Ms Coolidge. She is just a gem.
