Carols gives Nine week 4 of summer ratings

Seven was on track to win the week -until Carols pushed Nine into a winning position.

Seven was on track to win the win until the tradition of Carols by Candlelight boosted Nine’s share.

Carols drew 891,000 metro viewers, down on 2021’s 961,000, but with an increased network share of 48.2% for Saturday night.

But it actually wasn’t the top rating show of the week, which went to Seven News Sunday at 925,000.

Nine led on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Seven won Monday, Wednesday & Friday. ABC bettered 10 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.

Nine was victorious in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Seven claimed Adelaide & Perth.
