1981 film History of the World: Part I is finally getting a Part II -as a TV series.

History of the World: Part II features a variety of sketches each episode that will take viewers through different periods of human history.

Part II promises to cover the building of the pyramids, the American Civil War, the Russian Revolution, and more.

It stars Mel Brooks, Wanda Sykes, Nick Kroll and Ike Barinholtz (pictured).

Brooks is a writer and executive producer on the series along with Kroll, Sykes, Barinholtz, David Stassen, Kevin Salter, David Greenbaum and Christie Smith.

Screening in the USA on Hulu, an Australian broadcaster is yet to be confirmed.
