Returning: Our Law

NITV production Our Law, which previously screened as a special, now returns expanded into a 6 part series.

After 170 years of locked doors and sealed lips, documentary cameras have been granted intimate and candid access to the Indigenous officers and cadets attempting to break the cycle of Indigenous incarceration and repair a deeply troubled Aboriginal-police relationship, while giving voice to the communities being policed.

Episode One:
First Nations cadets and police officers set out to try to build a law that’s fair for everyone.

Episode Two:
The cadets are deployed to their regional posting to experience the realities of frontline policing.

This screens as a double episode simulcast at 8:30pm Thursday January 5 on both NITV and SBS.
