As much as Im no longer a fan of channel 10, they do at least answer their phone re enquiries. Which is more than I can say for channel 7. They only respond with supplying an email — But its not answered re queries. I have sent them a few emails to which they only respond with a generic reply ie ‘Thank you for your query.’ And thats about it. I sent them another one re the repeat (3rd or 4th) of 2022 The Voice, and my displeasure at the winner. It shouldve been Thando, Faith, Jordan, and Xanthe should have been in Finale – Not Lockie. Ive been checking my emails all week. Still no reply. But what else is new??? Channel 7 need to up their game and either put back on the receptionist/telephonist; And Or respond to their emails specifically, not generically. I ring the tv stations whenever the need arises. Channel 7 only one Not to reply to ones queries satisfactorily.
I know it’s only been a week and these things take time but Sarah and the new guys just aren’t doing it for me and by the look of the ratings, I’m not the only one and can somebody tell ch7 that they will put people off australian idol with the overkill of promos. The wife was going to watch it but now is not interested and sick of the same promos.
It does raise the question of what can TEN do in a competitive environment to improve their ratings?
Obviously The Bachelors is a failure and needs to be taken out of prime time main channel timeslots immediately. They also need to abandon the 2.5 news and current affairs slot as both their news service and The Project perform poorly and seem ill-disciplined in their approach.
The question remains what to replace them with? I personally do not think any news/current affairs revamp will work for them so they need to think of completely different kinds of content at these times to provide an alternative to what Seven and Nine are doing with their news.
Ten needs to make some changes to their programu hiing asap. Still say they need to look at starting their prime time shows from 7pm not 7.30pm.
I can say with absolute certainty that this will never happen , The Project is welded to the 6.30-7.30PM time slot.
