The Graham Norton Show returns to Fridays from this week with two profile Aussie guests and a favourite chat show host.

The irrepressible Graham Norton always delivers a couch filled with the world’s most interesting people and tonight is no disappointment with Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie, Alan Carr and Ashley Banjo and Raye.

7.30pm Friday, 20 January on 10.

  1. The irony of tv , Alan Carr on Graham Norton after Chatty Man was cancelled due to low rating with the rival Graham Norton Show. Pity Graham didn’t have a drinks cart because that makes for interesting and amusing tv when the guest gets sozzled drop clangers and pretend they aren’t.

    1. Norton does have drinkies for the chat show guests-their choice of what or if they indulge-US guests are often surprised by the level of coarse language allowed to be broadcast on network FTA in Britain as compared to the US programs.

Specifically I’m referring to Mark Walburg interview in February 2013, when drunk before the show and drinking more during the show, dropping the f bomb, stroking Graham’s chest and cuddling Sarah Silverman and telling her she smelted nice, then fell asleep, then there was Mark and Seth MacFarlane (2 great comedy actors) in June 2015 singing the Thunder Buddy song (including the f bombs) then Seth was asked about Family Guy censorship in America on a BBC breakfast show and he dropped the p….d clanger about the American censorship which BBC apologised for on his behalf. That to us it just shows they are just like most people enjoying themselves and life and we can just see it for what it is…..a bit of fun.

  2. Hi David, I think there was a change in the guest line up. In the above photo, the lady in the middle is none other than singer and stage actor Beverley Knight. Next to her is Alan Carr, and Raye is on the far right of the photo.
