Outside of sport, the Oscars and Yellowstone were big drawcards in 2022.

Sport dominated viewing in the USA in 2022 with Super Bowl LVI at nearly 100 million viewers for NBC.

The Oscars presntation was the top rated non-sport show of 2022.

  1. Appreciate your work David however wouldn’t it be better to just take out the sports in the list because that’s a given that they’re going to rate very high & doesn’t give as much of a picture of what’s happening with other genres.

    1. The Oscars are only be there because people caught it up because of The Slap. The top NCIS ep listed had The Superbowl as a lead-in, only a couple of other episodes of drama, some FBI and a Chicago Fire made the bottom of the list. Sport is what FTA is good at now, though Amazon’s Thursday Night Football, which they poached of the networks, was first streaming show to make the list.
