Airdate: Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert

Stand up special features Rhys Nicholson, Urzila Carlson, Geraldine Hickey, Cassie Workman, and Chris Parker.

Prime Video screens Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert later this month.

The special filmed at Enmore Theatre includes Urzila Carlson, Geraldine Hickey, Cassie Workman, and Chris Parker.

Rhys has had a busy time over the last few years, hosting RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under in New Zealand, and won the 2022 Melbourne International Comedy Award for Most Outstanding Show (formerly the Barry Award) for his latest show Rhys! Rhys! Rhys!, which he then took to sell out audiences in LA, Montreal, Toronto, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This all new one-hour special is brazen, honest, warm, and above all—hilarious.

Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert is one of five Australian stand-up specials Prime Video will be releasing this year including Joel Creasey: Queen of the Outback, Dave Hughes: Ridiculous, Tommy Little: Pretty Fly for a D***head and Lizzy Hoo: Hoo Cares? Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert will premiere at the Mardi Gras Film Festival 2023 on February 16 with Joel Creasey: Queen of the Outback, the night before the release of both specials on Prime Video.

Friday February 17 on Prime Video.
