Joel Creasey walked the pink carpet last night in Sydney at the Australian Premiere of his stand-up special Joel Creasey: Queen of the Outback.

The Premiere was held as part of World Pride’s Mardi Gras 2023 Film Festival and was attended by Joel Creasey, local Sydney identities and WorldPride Mardi Gras festival patrons.

Special guests in attendance also included Head of Prime Video Australia and New Zealand Hushidar Kharas, Christian Wilkins, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Tim Blackwell, Jack Vidgen, Khanh Ong, Smallzy, Jaguar Jonez, Hannah Ferrier and Megan Smart, from upcoming Prime Video series Class of ’07.

Hushidar Kharas, Head of Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, said “Prime Video is proud to be supporting the Queer Screen Mardi Gras Film Festival as a major sponsor. This partnership celebrates the rich and diverse queer filmmakers and other creators available on Prime Video for Australian and international customers. These include titles like My Policeman, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Cinderella and the two new Australian Amazon Originals: Joel Creasey: Queen of the Outback and Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert.”

This exclusive special from Joel Creasey (Australian Amazon Original LOL: Last One Laughing Australia) was filmed in front of a live audience at the 2022 Broken Heel Festival, Australia’s largest regional drag celebration, in September 2022. The special features a live, all-new stand-up performance from Joel Creasey recorded under the stars, plus all the glitter and glamour amidst Broken Heel’s nonstop weekend carnival.

Friday, February 17 on Prime Video.

  1. I’m all for Pride, but Joel is just about everywhere and I like the guy he can be funny, camp as a row of tent which he’s the best at, but he’s becoming another over exposed person on TV. And yes I’m well aware his father was one of the Solo men showing how tuff he is/was something Joel is rightly proud of. I’ll give this a look at because I’ve got 2 friends running “The Wig and Slingback” pub.
