Mitch & Mark to host Location, Location, Location.

Block winners will help homebuyers in revived property series for 10.

2021 Block winners Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie have landed the hosting roles on 10’s upcoming property series Location, Location, Location.

An adaptation of the UK original helping home buyers to retire, upsize or downsize, it was previously produced for Foxtel from 2012 – 2014.

“We are so excited to be hosting Location, Location, Location. It’s such a privilege to meet and help Aussies looking to find their new home in such a dynamic market, where hidden opportunities are just waiting to be found,” they said.

“We’ve learnt a lot from our own experiences of searching, buying, renovating and selling properties. We know how to look through the staging to see what a property is really offering, the good and the bad, and seeing the opportunities that others might not see in an ‘ugly duckling’ property that you can transform into a swan!

“We’ve loved watching the UK series, and now we are so thrilled to add our touch to the Aussie series. It’s going to be so much fun sharing our experience and knowledge.”

Daniel Monaghan, Senior Vice President, Content and Programming, Paramount ANZ, said: “Mitch and Mark have really captured the nations heart and we are excited to have them join us here at 10. Their authentic, fun and warm approach makes them a perfect fit for the Network.

“Mitch and Mark aren’t just expert renovators, they’ve built successful careers in sales and marketing and their own property empire. Their unique backgrounds place them perfectly to shed some much needed light on Australia’s property market as they help Aussies make the most important purchase of their lives, plus we know they’ll make it entertaining! What’s not to love?”

Produced by Endemol Shine Australia, the series is now casting for homebuyers. Applicants must have all their finances in place and be ready to make an offer or bid at auction.

The series will screen later this year, rumoured for Friday nights on 10.

  1. I probably wouldn’t watch this show but with these guys hosting it I might, well maybe in the ads when the NRL is on. This is 10’s new diversity dish on the menu, and these two guys are gay, naturally funny, over the top, somewhat snobbish with a dash of sensitivity, which is what I liked about them on The Block.
This is why 10 axed The Living Room!! It will be in that slot for sure! Hmmm I don’t think it will do any better in the ratings but a good PR exercise and a fresh new path for 10, thankfully Shine is producing it so it should look the part.

  2. Ummm, Mitch and Mark most certainly didn’t capture the nations heart. They were horrible to watch on the Block and will bring nothing to this series, which usually relies on real estate agents and buyers agents, not interior designers.

While I agree this is an old format being rehashed for no reason, I can’t help but think it will be destroyed not by being an aging format, but by the current housing market and rising interest rates.
