A massive freighter is crossing the Pacific Ocean,1.600 km from the nearest land. Carmen Curlers is inspired by actual events that began in 1963, when the entrepreneur Axel (Morten Hee Andersen) stumbled upon an invention: the electric curler. A revolutionary invention with a potential to liberate women with an easy, quick, and cheap way to get curly hair in ten minutes instead of hours at the salon.
