Andrew Lambrou releases Eurovision entry

Sydney based singer releases 'Break A Broken Heart', his entry for Cyprus in this year's contest.

Aussie singer Andrew Lambrou has released his entry in the Eurovision Song Contest, Break A Broken Heart.

The hunky Sydney-based singer, of Greek-Cypriot heritage, will represent Cyprus at this year’s event in Liverpool after being chosen by Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC). The ballad was penned by Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt, Jimmy Jansson, Thomas Stengaard, and Marcus Winther-John.

Lambrou was an entrant in last year’s Eurovision: Australia Decides placing fifth with his song Electrify and was previously an entrant on The X Factor in 2015.

He won’t be the first Aussie to perform for another country, with previous entrants including Olivia Newton-John, Gina G., Jane Comerford as part of Texas Lightning and enduring winner Johnny Logan.

  1. Hunky is right.
A few shots below the neck in the shower scenes would have been appreciated : )
oh, yeah…the song isn’t bad either. I tend to reserve judgement on Eurovision entries until i hear a live version though.
