Barry confirms final season

Dark comedy series Barry, starring, and directed by Bill Hader, returns for its fourth and final season on Foxtel / Binge in April.

In the 8 part season Barry’s (Bill Hader) arrest has shocking consequences.

Returning cast include Stephen Root as Monroe Fuches; Sarah Goldberg as Sally; Anthony Carrigan as Noho Hank; Henry Winkler as Gene Cousineau; Robert Wisdom as Jim Moss. Guest cast include Michael Irby as Cristobal, Fred Melamed as Tom Posorro, Andrew Leeds as Leo and Jessy Hodges as Lindsay.

Bill Hader, star, co-creator, writer, director and executive producer said, “It’s been an amazing journey making this show, and it’s bittersweet that the story has come to its natural conclusion.”

Barry was created by Alec Berg & Bill Hader; executive produced by Bill Hader, Alec Berg, Aida Rodgers and Liz Sarnoff; co-executive produced by Duffy Boudreau; produced by Julie Camino. Hader directs all eight episodes this season. Season four writers include Bill Hader, Liz Sarnoff, Duffy Boudreau, Taofik Kolade, Emma Barrie, Mark Ashmore and Nicky Hirsch.

Monday April 17 from 9.30pm AEST on FOX Showcase.

  1. Glad Bill Hadler decided 4 seasons was enough for Barry. Sometimes shows outstay there welcome(i.e Dexter prob should of ended at S4 or 5 and there are many other examples of shows going on too long). Hopefully it has a good outcome, at least it won’t be a cliffhanger ending.
