Is this a new contender for "the worst show on television?"

Fr Brendan Lee, a Sydney Catholic priest once referred to The Project as “the worst show on television” so I can’t help but wonder if we should now expect a sermon on MILF Manor?

The US reality series features “Hot single moms dive into a unique dating experience where they hope to find their –much younger –soulmates, but a shocking twist turns their world upside down.”

The show currently has a 14% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while Rolling Stone described it as “A Bizarre Blend of Reality TV and Incest Porn.”

8:30pm Tuesday on TLC.

  1. This show will quite probably be the worst show of 2023. This show is disgusting and perverted. Saying all that, I will be watching tomorrow night and I will probably be hooked!

  2. Foxtel can’t get any worse……They have launched dedicated “new” channels like WWE and Real Life but they still show the wrestling on Fox 8, Fox Docos. Real Life is just a mix of Arena, TLC, including Bondi Vet, Highway Patrol, Phil etc etc and anything relating to real life and how can we viewers forget the same old chestnut Judge Judy even though she hung up her robes in 2017. Now Murder She Wrote is on Fox 8 and Fox Slueth after a spin on Classics. TLC is just as bad with Long Island Medium, Yes to the Dress (probably half the brides are divorced now)………Foxtel like housewives behaving badly……..so why not throw a “worst show on television” in the mix too…….Nothing surprises me with Foxtel.

  3. I’ve seen this. It was bad. Really bad. Not even in a we-can-laugh-at-this-it’s-so-bad way. I won’t spoil it, but the ‘twist’ just makes it worse and extremely creepy.

    1. MILF Manor is uncannily similar to MILF Island, a 30 Rock sketch from 2008. The tagline was “Twenty MILFs. Fifty eigth-grade boys. No Rules.” The relevant scenes from 30 Rock are on their YouTube channel (promoting 30 Rock reruns on Peacock).
