"Brady Halls is a 'one of a kind' journalist. He will be sorely missed."

EXCLUSIVE:

Veteran reporter Brady Halls is retiring from A Current Affair, after 35 years with Nine.

Halls has covered a range of stories from bushfire victims, dodgy tradespeople, NDIS, aged care, immigration, insurance, childcare, local council, scams, neighbourhoods and celebrities.

He’s worked with hosts Tracy Grimshaw, Ray Martin, Mike Munro, Allison Langdon -a journalism survivor.

Fiona Dear, Executive Producer of ACA said, “We all knew this day was coming soon but it’s still hard to believe Brady Halls won’t be on A Current Affair.

“We’ve enjoyed decades of Brady entertaining families and fighting for Aussies who had lost hope. Now it’s time we let Brady spend some time with his own family.

  1. This guy never sounds genuine the way he delivers stories. It’s like he has to constantly ham up the delivery as if he’s above what he’s “reporting”.

    1. It’s called having a public persona, show me someone in the “biz” who doesn’t have some kind of gimmick to draw attention, singers, bands and comedians have perfected that. At least he has what is unique that all we mortals have and that is a personality whether it appeals to others is a personal choice.

  2. I will most definately miss him. My fave ACA reporter. I could watch him all day. He is one of the best Ive seen. I also enjoyed his time of sometimes hosting prior to Tracy Grimshaws leaving. Thank for all your sheer hard work, Brady. Good wishes for whatever is next.
