Nine: Coronation of King Charles III

Nine will broadcast The Coronation of King Charles III Live from 5.00pm AEST this Saturday.

Peter Overton and Ally Langdon will anchor coverage with commentary from royal confidant Dickie Arbiter and Camilla Tominey.

Nine correspondents Brett McLeod, Carrie-Ann Greenbank and Edward Godfrey will be stationed in key locations across London and Windsor.

Nine will cross to the BBC for the official ceremony and service, broadcast commercial-free.

For royal fans wanting to start the celebrations early, a special edition of Weekend Today will be broadcast from 6.00am on Saturday, featuring Jayne Azzopadi and Clint Stanaway alongside Nine’s exclusive experts. Viewers can also relive all the magical moments of the Coronation the following morning from 6.00am.

Coverage of the Coronation of King Charles III will be live and free on Channel 9 in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Tasmania, and on 9Gem in New South Wales and Queensland, as well as on 9Now in all markets.

  1. With Nine starting Weekend Today early at 6am, I have to wonder how long it will take for Seven to move Weekend Sunrise, currently set to start at the normal time of 7am, up to an early 6am start.
