Kochie to produce new Seven travel show

Passport, co-produced by Pinstripe Media, will chart the world of premium travel for Seven.

David Koch-owned Pinstripe Media will co-produce a new branded content travel show for Seven.

Passport will chart the world of premium travel, exploring coveted destinations and providing tips for travellers.

Co-produced with travel site Executive Traveller (formerly Australian Business Traveller) each half-hour episode will transport viewers to domestic and international destinations and present unique experiences including dining, entertainment and shopping; showcase the best in premium travel on airlines, railways and ocean and river cruises; and offer practical advice for making travel even better and more enjoyable.

Passport will screen on Seven, 7TWO and 7Flix, 7Plus, launching with an initial ‘mini-season’ of eight weekly episodes broadcast in the third quarter of this year.

“We’ve been big fans of Executive Traveller and their content for a long time, so having the opportunity to bring it to life in a TV format was not something we had to think twice about”, says AJ Koch, managing director at Pinstripe Media.

“We love making great broadcast and digital programming, and their knowledge of premium travel is unmatched, so it’s a great fit for us as well as being a great fit for brand partners in this space”.

Executive Traveller publisher Sid Raja said, “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Pinstripe Media on Passport. This is the TV show that globetrotting Australians have been waiting for – a show that’s smart, stylish and made with the sophisticated traveller in mind – and Pinstripe Media is the ideal partner for a collaboration that’s all about high- quality authentic storytelling.”

Presenters will be announced soon.

  1. Yay, another group of people swanning around the world in a class of travel 90% of people simply can’t afford. Sure its great to dream, but the realisation that the dream will never materialise, can have a negative effect of people as well,,,

  2. I like the idea of premium travel, but in the current cost of living pressures (where every dollar counts) there might be less appetite. Luxury accommodation or at the pointy end of the plane is where you can only dream of travelling for most of us. If they can show how to get the most out of your frequent flyer points, lounge membership, status class etc, then I’ll tune in.

  3. Thanks for revealing this, David. As a dreamer, I can’t get enough travel shows.
The title of the show is a little odd, given the format includes domestic destinations.
