Nine scores easy win on Thursday

Second Test drew up to 732,000 metro viewers for Nine. 7:30 and MasterChef battle in early evening slot.

Overnight ratings for Thursday have only just landed from OzTAM so this post will update this morning!

Nine’s Ashes Series drew up to 732,000 metro viewers giving the network an easy Thursday win.

The Chase topped entertainment at 516,000 / 329,000.

7:30 drew 396,000 followed by MasterChef Australia (380,000) and A Life in Pictures (263,000).

Later were Grand Designs NZ (191,000) The First Inventors (126,000).

Seven’s AFL drew up to 252,000 across the network.

Nine network won Thursday with 38.8% then Seven 24.9%, 10 14.3%, ABC 13.8% and SBS 8.2%.

Nine News was 741,000 / 725,000 then A Current Affair (566,000). Hot Seat was 391,000 / 265,000.

Seven News was #1 at 863,000 / 824,000. Home & Away was 307,000 across the network. Elsewhere were Highway Patrol (149,000) and Britain’s Got Talent (102,000).

The Project drew 272,000 / 183,000. 10 News First was 207,000 / 164,000. A replay of The Cheap Seats managed 87,000.

ABC News was 530,000. The Drum (165,000) and One Plus One (95,000) followed.

SBS World News was 168,000 / 103,000 then Inside Sydney Airport (122,000) and The Devil’s Confession (76,000).

Ashes also topped multichannels on 9GEM at 303,000.

Today Extra: 140,000 / 95,000
The Morning Show: 123,000 / 55,000

  1. Network 10 really need to shake up their content….dismal numbers get worse, especially when they just replay shows at night. Hey Ten….If we missed it….we will watch it on Catchup! Terrible
