Manchester City take on Sevilla at Karaiskakis Stadium in Greece.

Stan Sport screens the annual UEFA Super Cup from 4:35am AEST Thursday morning ahead of the 2023-2024 UEFA season.

This year, the UEFA Champions League winners Manchester City take on the UEFA Europa League conquerors, Sevilla at Karaiskakis Stadium in Greece.

Coverage will be hosted by Max Rushden, with ex-Socceroos Craig Foster and Mark Bosnic analysing.

Man City completed history for their club after completing the elusive ‘English treble’, being only the second club to ever do so, after winning the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, and FA Cup trophies.

Sevilla meanwhile completed history of their own, winning their 7th Europa League tournament – more than twice as many as the next most successful club.

While Man City hold the upper hand in the four times the club have previously played in UEFA club football, Sevilla have been much improved since the arrival of José Luis Mendilibar as coach in March 2023, notably eliminating City’s neighbours Man United en route to winning the Europa League last season.

The game will be held at the neutral Karaiskakis Stadium in Greece, and is sure to be packed with talent on the field as Man City’s superstars Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish go toe-to-toe with Sevilla’s Ivan Rakitić and Érik Lamela.

The UEFA action continues on Thursday, August 31 with the 2023/2024 season Group Stage Draw taking place, and those Group Stages kicking off from September 20 on Stan Sport.
