Family medical drama Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. has been axed by Disney+ after two seasons.
The reboot of Doogie Howser M.D. created by Kourtney Kang centred around Lahela “Doogie” Kameāloha (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), a 16-year-old girl, juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager in Hawaii.
The cast also included Jason Scott Lee, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Matthew Sato, Wes Tian, Emma Meisel, Mapuana Makia, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Ronny Chieng.
Season 2 screened on Disney+ from March.

Surprised this show ever got up as the lead actress is of Chinese heritage not Hawaiian heritage.
Not a patch on the original
Yes dad is Chinese born, she is US biracial, and claims Asian American Pacific Islander. But probably at the mention of a 16yo doctor is when we suspend disbelief anyway.
