Shining Vale: trailer

In the second season with Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear and Mira Sorvi, the Phelps family must battle their demons both internally… and externally.

The second season of US horror comedy Shining Vale, starring Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear and Mira Sorvino will premiere in mid October on Binge / FOX Showcase.

The series also stars Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, Dylan Gage and features Judith Light, Allison Tolman and Sherilyn Fenn.

The first season followed Pat (Cox) and Terry Phelps (Kinnear) as they decide to cash in their life savings and move from a cramped apartment in Brooklyn, to an old Victorian mansion in Connecticut as a last-ditch effort to save their marriage from Pat’s torrid affair with the handyman. The Phelps quickly learn why the agents were so motivated to sell the house – a few details were glossed over including a triple murder-suicide and a host of other atrocities they neglected to mention.

In the second season, the Phelps must battle their demons both internally… and externally. Something is lurking in the shadows in ‘Shining Vale,’ and it’s more than just Rosemary (Sorvino).

Shining Vale is executive produced by Jeff Astrof (Trial and Error) from Other Shoe Productions, Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford (Bad Sisters, Motherland) from Merman, and Aaron Kaplan (The Chi, The Neighborhood) and Melanie Frankel from Kapital Entertainment. Courteney Cox also serves as a producer. The series is co-created by Astrof and Horgan. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Lionsgate Television in association with Other Shoe Productions, Merman and Kapital Entertainment.
