Boiling Point, a four part TV adaptation of the hit 2021 UK film, will premiere on BBC First at the end of the month.
The series centres around restaurant staff juggling their personal lives alongside the challenge of running a new kitchen.
Starring Stephen Graham, Vinette Robinson & Hannah Walters plus Ray Panthaki, Gary Lamont, Áine Rose Daly, Taz Skylar, Daniel Larkai, Stephen McMillan, Hannah Traylen and Izuka Hoyle.
In a nod to the original film, the first episode opens with a ten minute one-shot sequence.
Eight months after her mentor Andy Jones suffered a heart attack, head chef Carly is battling to forge a name for new London-based restaurant Point North alongside her old kitchen crew. We follow the team as the stresses of keeping the restaurant running bear down on them amidst a hospitality industry in crisis. With the pressure to draw in new customers and keep the business profitable, the team must find a way to manage their complicated personal lives alongside the punishing intensity of life inside the kitchen.
Tuesdays at 8.30pm from October 31.

Looking forward to this. I have seen the movie (it was on World Movies a few weeks back, so is probably at SBS on Demand).
Southpatt, it is very similar to The Bear, although that should probably read the other way around, as the movie was filmed before Season 1 of The Bear.
Sounds like a similar premise to “The Bear”
No Probs. Just letting you know that me and the wife watched them all last night on bbc iplayer.
Hi David, Small correction, there are 4 episodes not 6.
Will check with BBC First who said 6 x 60. Update: BBC First now confirms 4.
