In the penultimate episode of Mother & Son this week, it’s a road trip for Maggie & Arthur.
Arthur is determined not to take Maggie to Canberra with him to visit his ex, Dee, but Maggie has other plans. Maggie fears she is becoming ‘invisible’. Arthur comes to terms with the nature of his relationship with Dee.

I’ve enjoyed the series more as it has progressed. I was deeply skeptical when first announced, as I was, along with a generation of viewers, a huge fan of the original. I have become more enamored with both the leads and think it has tonally managed to straddle both comedy and drama. I hope it gets renewed.
Just purchased the 2 series of the English version “Keeping Mum” written by Geoffrey Atherden, the scripts are pretty much a direct copy of the Australian original, just no-one has that Ruth/Gary chemistry…
