The Crown S6: new images

Iconic royal scenes are recreated in the sixth and final season.

New imagery has been released for the sixth and final season of The Crown.

The hit Netflix series will screen in two parts, with 4 episodes on November 16 and another 4 on December 14.

The cast features Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Ed McVey as Prince William, Luther Ford as Prince Harry, Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Phillip, Dominic West as Prince Charles and Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker-Bowles.

“We’re very much in the beginning of the Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed story,” said executive producer Suzanne Mackie. “From the second she steps onto that boat and [you begin to see] some of those iconic images of her on the yacht, it does take you immediately to the whirlwind that was the press speculation around that romance. ”

These photos also include first images of  Dodi Fayed (Khalid Abdalla) and Mohamed Al-Fayed (Salim Daw).

  1. I’m not a Royalist but I have enjoyed watching this Netflix show. Even though the screenplay of The Crown has been described as reimagined most who know the potted history of the Royal family will see that there was a lot of research done to get the controversial parts right, especially about Princess Margaret, and Prince Philip’s outgoing lifestyle. Best acting roles for me was John Lithgow’s Churchill, closely followed by another politician the inimitable Margaret Thatcher played by Jillian Anderson, who can swap between American and British roles almost flawlessly.

  2. I’m excited for the finale. This was the first Netflix show I ever watched, and it’s coming to an end.

Also, just wanted to note it should say 6 more episodes in December rather than 4.
