Looking fwd to this but there’s a major problem … the event itself as David points out starts at 5:30pm and & is scheduled to go for at least 4.5 hrs according to event website. Yet the 7 broadcast is only for only 3′ 55″, which of course includes those pesky ad breaks. My estimate is that every 3rd song will be dumped to broadcast those ads. I do hope that I’m wrong. Time will tell I suppose. I will certainly consider buying the DVD when it gets released (an assumption at this stage).
I don’t expect it to include every act / song, but at 4 hrs it’s a marathon of great Aussie music.
When was it filmed if it’s not live?
It begins 5:30pm Sunday at Rod Laver.
I’ll be disappointed if at last one song from each act is not showcased. e.g. I am a huge garbage fan and would love to see their performance televised!
