Paulini facing new driving charge

Former Australian Idol singer allegedly caught driving a motor vehicle 'while licence suspended.'

Former Australian Idol singer Paulini Curuenavuli is facing a new driving charge.

The Daily Telegraph reports she was allegedly caught driving a motor vehicle ‘while licence suspended’ and is listed to appear at Sutherland Local Court on November 28th.

In 2017, she was given a six-month suspended sentence for bribing a government official $850 to unlawfully obtain a driver’s licence.

Curuenavuli held a NSW learner’s permit until March 2016 when it was suspended after she was caught driving unaccompanied and without L plates displayed.

Paulini has previously appeared on The Masked Singer and Eurovision: Australia Decides.
