The Australian Writers’ Guild will hold the 56th Annual AWGIE Awards in Sydney on Thursday 15 February.

Comedians Alex Lee and Suren Jayemanne will host the annual night which honours storytelling across screen, stage, interactive and audio.

No event was held in 2023 but nominations for the 56th Annual AWGIE Awards will be announced in January
