Rumour: 10 Pound Poms renewed

TV Tonight understands Aussie-UK co-production 10 Pound Poms is set for a second season with filming to commence in the new year.

Inspired by true events in Australia’s history, the six-part series created by Danny Brocklehurst follows a group of Brits as they leave dreary post-war Britain in 1956 to embark on a life-altering adventure on the other side of the world.

Cast in S1 included Faye Marsay, Warren Brown, Michelle Keegan, Leon Ford, Declan Coyle, Rob Collins, Hattie Hook, Finn Treacy, Emma Hamilton, Stephen Curry and David Field.

The series is produced by Eleven for the BBC and Stan.
