Screen Producers Australia has announced eight Irish and ten Aussie producers selected to participate in an Ireland Connect co-production market at Screen Forever next March.

The ten Australian production companies seeking co-production partners who have been selected to participate in Ireland Connect are Arcadia, Buster Productions, Factor 30 Films, Hoodlum Entertainment, LM Films / Chemical Media, Magpie Pictures, Princess Pictures, SeeView Productions (pictured), Southern Pictures, and The ACME Film Company.

The Irish production companies joining the Australian cohort are Cardel Entertainment, Prelude Content, Red Shoe Productions, Ripple World, Samson Films, ShinAwiL, Subotica, and Tri Moon Films.

“The Global Connect initiative has been a labour of love for SPA, and we’re excited to welcome another delegation to Australia to develop strong international ties that, in this case, will lead to more Aussie-Irish stories delighting audiences globally,” said SPA CEO Matthew Deaner.

“SPA as an organisation is dedicated to uniting screen businesses and providing global pathways and co-production opportunities for our members from and with all corners of the globe.”

The initiative will provide the delegation with unique advantages to progress their TV and film projects over the course of the Screen Forever 38 conference, beginning on 18 March with exclusive events, talks, industry networking, and curated meetings, fostering tangible business outcomes and laying the foundations for projects to come to fruition.

Screen Forever 38 delegates not directly participating in Ireland Connect can take advantage of an array of opportunities to connect with the Ireland Connect delegation through the Production Partnerships Forum and 1-1 meetings at SPA Connect.

More information on Screen Forever 38 can be found at www.screenforever.org.au. After a completely sold-out event in 2022 and 2023, delegates are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.

The full Screen Forever 38 program will be announced in mid-February 2024.
