  1. southern cross should atleast make a full half hour buletin for its 10 regional markets, although i wish SC returned to 9 to bring back production of 9 local news

    1. Whatever happened to “Nine News Tasmania” promoted in Nine Upfronts in 2022?
“Nine News Tasmania An hour-long 9News Tasmania bulletin will launch in early 2023, produced by Nine and broadcast by Nine’s Tasmanian affiliate, live from a new Hobart studio seven days a week”.

  2. “Jarrod Villani, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating & Commercial Officer & Regional Lead, Paramount Australia and New Zealand”. They do have a thing for long convoluted job descriptions at 10.
“we look forward to promoting 10’s suite of premium programming in regional Australia” – SCA has 10 affiliation only in regions like Tasmania, central SA where 7 isn’t available to them. WIN is saddled with 10 in northern NSW only by default since they couldn’t get Nine from Nine O&O NBN, which WIN tried to buy but were outbid.

    1. Correction! “SCA has 10 affiliation only in regions where 7 isn’t available to them”. Where available, like like Tasmania, central SA, SCA has 7 affiliation. (Sorry)

  3. So the deal was that Channel 10 had to pay Southern Cross to take their programming?

Southern Cross took a look at the ratings, and probably tried to do a deal with the ABC.
