What was 2023’s biggest blunder in TV?

Blow Up? Kerri-Anne? King's Coronation discussion? Voting continues in the TV Tonight Awards.

Voting continues in the TV Tonight Awards for the Best and Worst of the year in television.

Amongst the categories up for voting are the annual Blunder of the Year with you choices this year including TV Flops such as Blow Up and Rush, Kerri-Anne Kennerly’s refusal to taste jungle food, ABC’s King’s Coronation discussion, Kamahl’s backflipping on The Voice Referendum and a Spotlight interview with Bruce Lehrmann.

But there are others on the list of options, or you can add your own.

As always this is a lengthy survey that takes around 10 mins or more, and all the categories are blank so that nobody is left out.

Voting closes 5pm AEDT Friday January 5th 2024.

  1. It might be recency bias, but I’m surprised that Big Brother (long running iconic reality franchise that even rated decently post-reboot/format change, turned into low rating love-island rip off) did feature in the write up for the post.

  2. Kerri-Anne’s was so weird because not only did she refuse to do the eating trials, but she then placed the blame on her camp mate, even though there were cameras filming everything that could disprove it!

Ever since she went on Studio 10 and gave some pretty narrow-minded opinions, I’ve been disappointed in her. Her stint in the Celeb jungle sealed the deal for me.

  3. David I’m shocked you’ve neglected to include the biggest blunder of all this year!

Surely it’s Barnaby Joyce watching the wrong Matildas game at the Walcha pub!?
