Matt Okine to host Screen Producers Awards

Comedian Matt Okine will host of the 22nd Annual Screen Producers Australia Awards.

Last year he starred in and executive produced the reboot of the Mother and Son, alongside Denise Scott. His other credits include Stateless, Orange Is The New Brown, Doctor Doctor, Aquamarine, Dora and the Lost City of Gold and Christmas Ransom.

Okine is currently working on a film adaptation of his novel, Being Black N Chicken & Chips with Wooden Horse Productions and the team at Aquarius Films.

The SPA Awards celebrate productions and achievements by its members, to be presented on March 21, the final day of Screen Forever 38 on the Gold Coast.
