9Now celebrates Mardi Gras

Pedestrian Television original short series Two Queers Comedy Festival is part of a special Pride collection.

Great to see just in time for Mardi Gras weekend, 9Now has a new Pride Collection.

Pedestrian Television original short series Two Queers Comedy Festival launches on Saturday, March 2.

Filmed live at the Opening Night Gala in Paddington Town Hall, the special hosted by Jenna Suffern and Brendan Hancock showcases comedians including Nina Oyama (Utopia) and Lou Wall (Lousical the Musical).

The Pride Catalogue includes an eclectic mix of titles to dazzle and delight, with iconic films to set the stage, from the glittering Australian outback adventure in the Academy Award-winning The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert with Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving, and Guy Pearce, to the vibrant streets of South Beach in The Birdcage starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.

The new collection also features other key titles that include everything from the heartwarming and empowering I Am Jazz, to the competitive brilliance of Call Me Mother and the informative and uplifting journeys of Lost In Transition.

Shows like Slag Wars, Dragnificent!, Metro Sexual, Chucky and Finding Prince Charming further diversify the lineup, and offer a mix of comedy, competition and romance.
