Friday Flashback: “Blue Heelers the Musical”

Last month marked 30 years since Blue Heelers premiered on Australian TV.

The show ran for an impressive 13 seasons, drawing bumper ratings and uncovering new stars.

One of them, William McInnes, would later appear in Seven sketch series, Let Loose Live in which he performed in a ‘Blue Heelers musical’ parody.

Let Loose Live, which featured Peter Moon, Michael Veitch, Marg Downey, Colin Lane, Dave O’Neil, Jane Hall, Kate McLennan, was cancelled by Seven’s Tim Worner after just two episodes.
